Event 20 the $260+$40 Deeper Stack NLH drew a total of 130 entries creating a prize pool of over $32,000. When the dust settled Eric Samra was the last man standing. Samra held a massive chip lead throughout final table play eliminating opponent after opponent.
The stacks began to even out a bit when heads up play began and at one point Daniel Shalaev even took the chip lead. Samra maintained his composure and was able to find a massive double up crippling Shalaev. He was able to close it out in the early morning hours and takes home his first Borgata Spring Poker Open title as well as $9,669.
