The heater continues for Wade Meacham and the “No Mercy Crew” as he put on another impressive performance here in Event 11. After scoring two of the last three knockouts the final three players agreed to a deal. Meacham who held more than half of the chips in play will earn $17,000 and his third Borgata Poker Open title.
His recent hot streak started right hear at the Borgata in January in the BWPO when he took home over $37,000 and his first BPO title in the $400 Black Chip Bounty event. He followed that up just weeks later winning the BWPO $300 Deep Stack event adding another $33,000 to his bankroll.
The next stop for both Wade and his brother Jeremy along with fellow “No Mercy Crew” members Dennis Zollo, and Victor Paulino was sunny Florida. Wade started the trip with a deep run in the WPTDeepStacks Main Event finish 37th for nearly $3,000. Jeremy would go on to win that event outright taking home over $117,000 and his first WPTDS title.
With both of their pockets a bit heavier they made their way further south to Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. The first event of that series was a $360 NLH Event with a massive field of more than 3,100 players and less than a week after his brother earned six figures he did the same. He bested a stacked final table that included Mike Mizrachi and Neil Blumenfield to earn over $122,000 and his first SHRPO.
If the Meacham brothers and the “No Mercy Crew” continue to collect hardware at this pace they may need to make room in the trophy case. With Jeremy narrowly missing the final table in yesterday Almighty stack, Paulino final tabling the 40 big blind event and Wade winning another title it’s safe to say the “No Mercy Crew” formally “Team No Mercy” came to play. With the Borgata Spring Poker Open Main Event right around the corner they will look to continue their recent run of live tournament sucess .
