Brandon Mueller finishes with 1,295,000 to claim the lead after day 2.

Haberman and Gary Bowker square off. Bowker rose massively in the last level, just like Alexandrov on 2.
Some of the players we followed:
Vlad Alexandrov finished at 513,000 after being down to his last 130,000, felting TK Miles along the way. Bowker took a big 829,000, aided by busting a shorter stack at table 5 before moving beside Haberman.
Cannuli took 572,000, and his table-mate David Jackson 518,000. Jeff Gross couldn’t maintain his middle stretch, ending with 101,000.
Jake Toole finished second in chips with 1,173,000, while Andrew Dudley on his left took 839,000.
Blumstein ended up with 542,000.
Official counts and seating will be posted on the blog in the morning.
Day 3 begins at 1 PM.
Good luck all championship players!

With many of the short stacks busting for min cashes, the flood of exits has slowed.
Mueller continues steady at 900,000, while Toole maintains over 1,000,000.

On Brandon’s table, Justin Liberto has been extremely steady. Over 700,000. David Jackson now moved from 1.
Thomas Cannuli takes Brandon for a small pot when he checks a top pair, weak kicker and induces a bet from Justin.

More drama with Dudley. He squeezes Joey off his hand but the button Vlad A. calls, then is stuck for what to do on the turn jam.
The table disperses. After cbetting the , Dudley jams for Vladimir Alexandrov’s last 130,000.
The minutes tick by.
Finally, TK Miles calls for the clock, and Vladimir finds a fold.

When table 6 broke it sent its biggest stack, Andrew Dudley, to the left of Jake Toole, who had briefly risen as high as 1,100,000, surpassing Brandon Mueller at the adjacent table. However, he had taken a small setback since.
He raised the button to the minimum in a recent hand, and Andrew raised the price of poker to 35,000. The BB folded and Toole acted relatively quickly in calling.
The flop came , at which Dudley fired 41,000. Again, Toole made the call.
On the , Dudley was faced with some tough choices – this pot was going to potentially be huge if he fired again. After nearly a minute, he checked. Toole now bet small – just 55,00 into the nearly 160,000, and got a quick and slightly disgusted fold.
The pot pushes Toole over 1,000,000 again and past Brandon, who has been sedate at 900,000 all level.

[Correction] Alex Rocha had opened what he claimed was , and then was three bet to 37,000 with
by a now busted player with 200,000. However, looking to steal from a possible light raise, George now made it about 105,000.
Alex folded, but the unfortunate bustout, covering George, went in for the last 100,000, and George had to call it off. He hit one of his live cards, it appears, and suddenly has a stack, over 600,000.
Schorr is near average stacked.

May Siu doubles through Steven Markowitz, against
. May goes to about 200,000, Steven is still in.
Mueller is nearing 900,000 as chip leader.
Cannuli busts one when he gets caught in semibluff with overs and flush outs. He gets there, bringing us two away.
Then, Yong Kwon appeared to be the second to the bubble out, but play was paused to check. A miscount means he is likely the true bubble. The players wait for a moment.
A table is being broken and it appears we must have burst the bubble.
Confirmation: Floorman Andrew announces we are in the money, and the Bravo clock is corrected.
Congratulations – light applause from the players, who clearly are looking at a longer road to what they really want.
We now take a short break.

Having essentially caught Orson for the chip lead, Brandon Mueller just broke Joe Reddick, snapping off Reddick’s value shove holding the nut straight. Reddick flipped up two pair uselessly but knew he was dead as soon as Brandon acted lightning fast.
Unlucky series of events for Larry. He freerolls Flynn for all the chips with a straight and flush draw versus naked straight, then can’t outflip Flynn. Thomas moves to
Blumstein continues to add chips, now at 500,000. Andrew Dudley remains the big stack on 6, passing 600,000.
Ruth Ruffman just went out to Ariel A, who shut out the winning hand by reraising kings. Ruth made a useless set on the end against top set, to add to her aggravation, while the would be winner regretted not having a little more genetic gamble with a suited ace.

McDevitt and Mueller just joined the chip leader Orson Young. He appears to have taken a small hit and is back below 600,000. Many stacks are over 400,000 at the moment.
One of those his Brandon’s. He has 520,000 and pressing toward the lead.
Toole had started over 500,000 at the top of the level, seems to have lost a bit, but now just won in two streets of action with versus the small blind’s small pair. Back around 520,00.

Returning from break.

Big stack Andrew Dudley, right, now with over 420,000, three bets the UTG raiser. “You know what I got.”

Painful extraction: David Jackson gets value in a big pot with this river raise. Turned trip draw comes through.
Seat one is decimated and in the red zone. After losing a hand before, this one puts Jackson over 200,000.
